Art & Fragrance S.A. of Switzerland has acquired the French luxury goods company Lalique S.A. from the Pochet group for 44 million euros. With the move, Art & Fragrance strengthens its position in the prestige segment to expand both its perfume brand portfolio and its activities in the luxury goods sector. Art & Fragrance specializes in the creation, development and distribution of perfumes and cosmetics, and is now also moving into crystal and jewelry production. Lalique, one of the world’s leading companies in the crystal, jewelry and perfume business, and highly regarded for its unique expertise in the manufacture of crystal, was owned by the French group Pochet from 1994 until its acquisition by Art & Fragrance. The strategic and operational development of Lalique will be principally managed by Silvio Denz as chairman and CEO.
